I am often asked questions about wealth attraction, and many people want to know about aspects of my life — for example, what do I do now, then I did not do when I wasn’t wealthy? This is an excellent question, and it shows that the asker is genuinely on the path of wealth attraction.
In answer to this question, I thought of one specific point that I can share with you — something I’d do today very differently than I did before I was wealthy, and it is this: I ask very different questions.
I am certainly not the first motivational coach to say that our lives are the result of the quality of questions we ask ourselves, so I cannot take any credit for “inventing” the concept. However, I will take credit for using this technique like there is no tomorrow! The fact is, I ask very different questions today than I used to ask back when my life was a mess and I had no money.
One thing, in particular, that I began to do was to ask myself “loaded questions.” A loaded question contains a statement of fact, kind of like this: “what am I doing on a daily basis that keeps wealth flowing to me?” Or, how about this one: “why do I have so much abundance in my life?”
These sort of questions may sound silly to some people, but in fact they take advantage of both of the law of attraction, and a little-known quirk of human psychology. You see, when ever we ask ourselves a question, our mind goes to work immediately searching for an answer to that question. Let me give you an example: “why are there craters on the moon?”
Upon reading that last question, your mind immediately went to work searching for reasons why craters exist on the moon — that is simply how the mind works.
So if you have been using affirmations to try to change your mind set, I recommend that, instead of affirming things, you begin asking things. Ask yourself why you are so good with money, why you are so lucky, why you have so much in your life, and of course, why are you so rich?
The questions we ask determine the answers our mind comes up with and the wealth attraction we see in our lives.
Take care,
Jon
