The Law of Attracting Wealth
(The Law of Attraction Applied to Wealth)

moneyWe all have goals in life, and financially secure and being able to live as we choose is a major aspiration for most of us. It is certainly not our only goal, of course--but it is an important one nevertheless. There's nothing wrong with this, as long as we go about our quest for wealth in the right way, and do not stoop to harming or taking from others in order to get ahead. And in reality, there is never any need to take from or compete with others for wealth.

The law of attracting wealth
shows us that ALL is abundance, and that lack and limitation are mere illusions of perception, no matter how "real" they may seem at times. Albert Einstein was right when he said: "reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one."

You've probably heard of 'The Secret,' the best-selling self-help book that is also a successful film and TV series. Some may scoff at the thought of "yet another" self-help "phenomenon", but we shouldn't be too quick to judge. The Secret explores, on a basic level, the concept of the "law of attraction", also known as the law of attracting wealth, and it has helped countless individuals take their first tenuous steps toward a more prosperous, fulfilling life, and away from the rat-race illusion of modern life.

The law of attraction or the law of attracting wealth, are not at all new however. The ancient Babylonians were aware of these philosophies, and elements of them even show up in various books of the Bible. In other words; these ideas were around severa millenia before The Secret re-introduced them to a modern audience --and they'll be around long after "The Secret" is forgotten.

To better understand the law of attracting wealth, here is a brief outline of the basic concept, and what YOU need to do to get results:

1. Set a goal for yourself; make it something you really want to achieve -- something you are passionate about. This way, you will be more energized and focused in achieving your goal and not easily distracted along the way. Take for example the goal of becoming financially independent by age 25 - this of course means that you should have no outstanding debts, and that you are able to pay for your rent and daily necessities, as well as putting money away in savings.

2. Once you have defined this goal and decided what it will "look like" when reached, you want to use visualization techniques to make it more real and "solid" in your mind. The idea is to visualize your goal as being a reality, to see it as if it is ALREADY true in your life. Don't think about how nice it WILL be -- think about how nice it already IS. You see the difference? This comes more naturally with a little practice, so don't be discouraged if your mind tries to reject the image at first. It will pass soon enough.

3. Another important point: it paramount that you ENJOY your journey to success as much as humanly possible! DO NOT stress about it or entertain doubts--just be grateful that your goal is on the way, and stay light-hearted about the whole process.

4. Finally, you don't just wait around for your goals to pop into reality. Inspired action is also important. But by remaining optimistic and "up" as much as possible, you will stay motivated to follow through on any action you decide to take and the whole process will go much smoother. You may be surprised how many unique ideas, people and synchronistic events seem to just "show up" to help you along the way.

The law of attracting wealth (and anything else you want in life) is really is all about maintaining a positive outlook and having faith. Belief (faith) is powerful, and without it we live a faithless, dimenished existence. Remember, you've got to "see" the result in your mind's eye in order to achieve it -- see it as already true, and it will be...
