Attracting Love with the Law of Attraction
A lot of people want to know how to attract love with the law of attraction. Relationships enrich our lives in hundreds of ways, so it just makes sense that law of attraction followers would want to use these timeless principles to create a better love life.
With that in mind, let’s look at four important points for attracting love into your life — from a law of attraction perspective.
1. You Get What You Give
It may sound like a cliché, or the lyrics to an old Beatles song, but it’s true nevertheless: the more you give love, the more you get love. From a law of attraction point of view, we understand that “like attracts like;” and by the same token, “love attracts love.”
The more you express, notice and appreciate love in your life, the more love will be attracted to you. So the most obvious first step to attract love into your life is to make a conscious effort to be more loving and to give more love to those around you.
2. Already “Have” the Love You Desire
I know I say this a lot, but it really applies here: the law of attraction does not give us what we “want.” It gives us MORE of what we already “have.” This means that in order to attract love you need to “feel’ as if you already have love in your life. It’s the old “fake it ’til you make it” routine, and it absolutely works.
Another old proverb that sums this up is, “The hungry don’t get fed.” In other words, being desperate for love will not attract it into your life (desperation is NEVER attractive). But thinking, feeling and acting “as if” you already have love in your life WILL attract more love. It’s the same principle used to attract wealth, health, joy, and success. “Program” your mind to feel as if you already have what you desire, and then take the extra step of being grateful for it.
3. What You “Study” is What You Get
To attract love you need to focus on love — and often. Make it part of your daily routine to notice and appreciate love and loving relationships (without feeling envious of them). A great exercise is to take a little time every day (maybe while driving) to list things, people, situations and feelings that you love. This will train your mind to notice the beauty and abundance of the great people, places and things around you and feel love and appreciation for them. As this becomes a habit, love will be attracted to you–you won’t have to search desperately to find it.
4. A Fearful Mind Doesn’t Attract love
Keep in mind that the opposite of love is fear. Whenever you are feeling fearful, you are “disconnected” from the abundance of love just waiting to flood into your life.
Love is fearless, simple and joyous. Whenever you’re feeling fearful, complicated or unhappy, you are NOT attracting love at that point. Just take a deep breath, and re-align yourself with the vast abundance of love all around you. Make a “things I love” list and then a gratitude list, and then make a few more! Laugh outloud, smile with your whole body, show appreciation for the love you already have in your life–and then sit back confidently and watch even more love show up in your life…

Well put!!! I love this post! You are so right. People’s biggest obstacle is fear. Belief, therefore, is hendered because of fear. So people don’t believe they deserve love, and if they are not believing they deserve it, they won’t give it either. And that’s a recipe for destruction my friend!

The thing that helps me best when visualizing and feeling as if I already have what it is I desire is to remember, you are training your subconscious mind.
Your subconscious mind is working for you all the time. It is the key to manifesting desired effects. It can also be the barrier in that many don’t consider it nor know how to put it in alignment with what is desired.
Acting as if you already have with visualization, thoughts, words, and feelings is a way to train your subconscious mind to accept what it is you desire as being real and obtainable for you.
The more you repeat notions and ideas on a conscious level the more the subconscious will be likely to adapt to it’s realaity
